Hello and welcome to Proffers’ Kennel. Congratulations on your choice of Boerboel sites as Randy is one of the very first to introduce the Boerboel into the United States in 1999.  With over 24 years of experience and breeding stock originally hand selected by Randy during two separate visits to South Africa, Randy has been told by National and International Appraisers alike that his kennels are outstanding and are in fact, one of the finest in the world.  He has also been Featured Boerboel Breeder in Dog World USA magazine.

Throughout the years, Proffers’ Kennel has repeatedly produced some of the finest and highest scoring Boerboels in the world; including this years SABBS 2015 Spring Appraisal of beautiful Proffers Sarrabi, scoring 90.3 at only 12 months old!  Also the striking Proffers Krixus who received 90.4, Proffers Deacon and our up and coming male, Proffers Bodacious II.

Proffers’ Kennel has historically produced some of the highest scoring Boerboels in the world; and our aim is to continue that trend.  The pedigrees coming from this kennel are truly impressive and have earned Randy the reputation of “The Breeders’ breeder.”  You would be hard-pressed to find a Boerboel breeder in the United States that doesn’t show a Proffer dog in its’ pedigrees.

We have seen many breeders come and go through the years, yet Randy remains; NOT because he out sells, but because of his true love of the breed, his impeccable reputation for standing behind his dogs, and because of his valued repeat customers.  You simply can’t be a successful breeder for this many years without being known for quality dogs and the highest standard of ethics. Our dogs are socialized from birth and we’re very proud to say that many of our “Proffer Puppies” have gone on to provide amazing contributions to society:

• Working in Special Needs Classrooms
• Working at one of the largest Pediatrics Radiation Oncology Hospitals in the United States
• Working as a Service Dog to a child with Autism
• Trained/certified as a Service Dog to detect blood sugar spikes and lows in Diabetes
• Working as Therapy Dogs in Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Residential Care Facilities

The list goes on and on. We believe that trainability begins at birth.  Our breeding dogs are not referred to as such; but each one is a much loved part of our family & THAT is the very heart of Proffers’ Kennel.

As you go through the many pages on our site, you will notice Randy makes his home phone number available repeatedly to ANYONE whether it be to inquire about a puppy, to research the breed, for information regarding the Boerboel Appraisal System, or any other Boerboel related issue.
