Mufassa
You may wonder why “Fass” as we lovingly call him, gets his own page? The story of Randy’s kennel couldn’t be told without giving this gent the spotlight.
Fass was one of the original seven puppies personally selected by Randy on his first trip to South Africa and has over the years become a true member of the family. In his prime, Mufassa was an impressive and imposing figure of strength whose self-confidence was evident in the way he carried himself at all times and in any place.
Because of his stature and strong appearance, Fass’s puppies have always been in high demand yet Randy wisely chose to keep a few of his females back for himself. As Fass is getting older now, it was time to select a prodigy; we are so happy and proud to introduce “Nufassa.” of course, he will be the new “Fass” to us.
Fass is approaching 11 years of age now and although he “still loves the ladies” he spends most of his time relaxing under the shade of the pines in the back yard ever loyal and woofing to the man he has shared his lifetime with; Randy.

Sadly, Fass passed away on December 1, 2009. To say it was a sad day is a terrible injustice. Fass was a true member of the family and will be forever missed.
