Randy’s Kennels

Randy’s Kennels

Upon his return from South Africa, Randy began construction of the kennel with the help of his sons Mike, Randy E. and Dustin. They first built the main kennel, and when it was completed, the outdoor boardwalk of eight (8) 35 ft. long runs was constructed. The walkway is illuminated at night by electric lantern lighting that truly makes the boardwalk a real sight when the sun goes down.

The facility was skillfully planned to include electricity, two individual water hydrants along the boardwalk, one inside the main kennel and a septic system that services the kennel only.

Most often, puppies that are sold move to their new owners directly from the whelping area. However, puppies reaching around 12 weeks of age that remain, or the ones Randy has chose to keep back for himself, “graduate” to the outdoor fenced lawn that adjoins the boardwalk/outdoor runs. As you can see from the photos, this is a lovely area that allows ample room for exercise and play, complete with toys, balls and a low-hanging tire that they seem to love! More importantly, it allows the puppies to acclimate themselves to the outdoors as well as becoming accustomed to the older dogs while in a safe environment.

Randy often gives scheduled tours of his facilities and in fact, encourages those who are interested in a puppy or retired dog to do so. Call 573-238-3470
